    Description

    In the pre-market reliability validation phase for 3C products, environmental simulation testing constitutes a significant portion of the overall test program. Components such as foldable display hinges, sensor calibration mechanisms for wearable devices, and focusing rings for miniature camera modules all require completion of specified cycle counts under alternating high and low temperature conditions. The KRS Series High-Low Temperature Rotary Platform is specifically designed for such durability testing in temperature-controlled environments, with an operating temperature range of -80°C to +200°C. It can be installed directly inside environmental chambers without the need for additional feedthrough ports on the chamber walls. This installation approach reduces the risk of chamber leakage while minimizing the extra thermal load introduced through shaft conduction from the drive train. This high-low temperature rotary platform employs thermal expansion coefficients in its drive train that have been matched through calculation, ensuring that the preset gear mesh clearance is maintained at both extreme high and low temperature points, thereby preventing jamming or increased backlash due to differential thermal expansion. The repeatable accuracy of ±0.005° (±0.3′) is guaranteed across the entire temperature range, which is critical for analyzing angular drift after cumulative cycles numbering tens of thousands. With a maximum central load capacity of 150 kg, this high-low temperature rotary platform can accommodate multiple 3C product fixtures simultaneously in the test tooling, enabling parallel testing and increasing throughput per unit time. For drive motor selection, stepper motors are suitable for static holding tests in step-index mode, while servo motors are appropriate for variable-speed rotation and reciprocating swing motions that simulate real-world usage scenarios. Verification by an independent third-party testing laboratory showed that foldable hinge durability test data obtained using this high-low temperature rotary platform deviated from manual test results by less than 0.5%, demonstrating the platform's excellent repeatability and consistency in standardizing test procedures.
